Each kit contains seven pieces of reclaimed fabric, pre-stencilled by hand with heat-erasable paste using most popular and easy to stitch traditional Sashiko patterns.

- Sashiko needle
- Illustrated instructions with pattern names, their Japanese origins, and a tutorial on how to stitch them
Good to know:
After you're done stitching, simply iron or steam the fabric to remove the pattern marks. All fabric is reclaimed — shapes and sizes vary slightly, which is the nature of the material and the spirit of Sashiko. No two kits are identical.

🔄 Where Our Materials Come From
Our materials come from local makers, businesses, and creative projects that no longer need them.
Through our Stash Swap programme, fabrics and yarns are donated and shared within the community. Materials that aren’t rehomed during our swap events are then sorted, checked, and prepared by our team.
We make them available again through our online shop and textile reuse pop-ups — keeping them in circulation for as long as possible.
