Exceptional Value

A soft, textured fabric in a muted blue, designed to mimic the look of linen but with a fluid, more fluid drape than pure linen gives. It has the visible slubs and slightly uneven weave that give linen its character, but the hand feels closer to a cotton-viscose blend — softer, a little more fluid, and with a subtle sheen in places rather than linen's drier matte finish.

The colour has gentle tonal variation, lighter where it catches the light and deeper in the folds, giving it a soft, washed look. The fringed selvage is left raw, in keeping with the relaxed character of the fabric.

This drapes easily and doesn't hold a crease the way stiffer linens do, which makes it a good option for anyone after the linen look without the structure.

Through our Stash Swap programme, fabrics and yarns are donated and shared within the community. Materials that aren’t rehomed during our swap events are then sorted, checked, and prepared by our team.

We make them available again through our online shop and textile reuse pop-ups — keeping them in circulation for as long as possible.
